Apple Begins Using Google To Search Web Through Siri

Apple today has begun offering updates to Siri and Spotlight users on iOS and macOS, where through this new update, they replaced Bing's search engine with Google's search engine.

With this change, Apple says it will provide a parallel search experience as in Safari. For information, Safari uses Google as a major search engine, but in Siri and Spotlight, it uses Bing's engine.

Currently, only web search is using Google, Bing is used for image search, and Youtube for video search.

As is well known, Google's search engine often yields more relevant results than Bing, and this change should benefit users in getting more relevant information faster.
