Many people say that one of the most exciting things to stay or visit to Malaysia is local food. It's not just cheap but a lot of choices. Here I want to share with you some kind of food you can enjoy in Malaysia. If you have never visited Malaysia and plan to visit, the food here will definitely make you back here again.
Asam laksa is a spicy noodle served with fish soup. It is one of the famous dishes of the Baba and Nyonya. Baba
Nyonya is a descendant of Chinese immigrants combining Malay culture
and they have created this food which has Chinese and Malay elements. This
food is very popular in Malaysia and you can enjoy this food anywhere,
especially around the road in Penang.
Asam laksa has a mixture of ingredients such as fish, finely chopped cucumber, onion, pineapple, red chillies, salad leaves, kesum leaves and spring flowers. It is served with white thick noodles and fish sauce mixed with shrimp paste to taste. Some people may be uncomfortable with this peso because of the fishy taste.
