BMW Produces Special Designed Seats For Electric Bicycles

 

The popularity of electric bicycles in western countries is increasing due to the awareness of reducing the use of fossil fuel vehicles. Owners can activate electric motors when climbing hilly areas and this reduces tired pedaling all the time. But BMW feels the design of the existing electric bicycle seat needs to be improved.

Thus they work with Selle Royal to produce eZone seating, This seating is wider and has a higher backside. Electric bikes can accelerate forward quickly and this results in riders crawling backwards when using custom-designed seating.

Gel materials are used as liners to enhance comfort when riding long. Holders made of glass fibers are placed on eZone parts to facilitate the heavier electric bicycles to be lifted comfortably. eZone will begin for sale this October but the price has not yet been announced.
