Criminals are now progressing and using technology to make it easier for them to do what is wrong with the law. To ensure that criminals can be brought to justice, evidence of their offense is required by the authorities. But criminal evidence may be hidden in thumb drives and MicroSD cards. Therefore the task of finding it becomes quite difficult.
To facilitate
the process of finding these digital evidence, dogs in the United
Kingdom have been trained to sniff thumb drives, MicroSD cards and
digital storage. The program is still in the trial stage and is actually pioneered by the authorities in the United States. With a dog sniffing digital storage, online fraud cases, terrorists and most importantly pedophilia can be solved. Even dogs are able to detect the existence of hidden digital storage after the human police failed to detect it.
