WhatsApp Service Prevented In China

WhatsApp
The world's most popular WhatsApp messaging app has been completely restricted in China. The Chinese government has been detected to prevent photo and audio transmission since Wednesday before blocking it today. This deterrent action is another step of the Chinese government to prevent the freedom of the people to communicate without being monitored.

This service barrier was first detected by Nadim Kobeissi, an analyst with Symbolic Software. Previously, China had blocked the VPN service. Smartphone owners in Xinjiang are required to install government monitoring software on their device due to violence. Failure to install this monitoring software will cause them to be jailed.
