Apple Says the Specification Report Reduced Face ID Is Not True

Yesterday, we have heard about reports that Apple may lower the level of accuracy and Face ID face scanner standards on the iPhone X to increase smartphone rates.
Moving fast, Apple now releases a statement and says the report is incorrect.
Apple added that Face ID is one of the safest and powerful authentication systems. Face recognition and Face ID quality are not reduced, and targeting Face ID will be one of the new standards for security verification.
Face ID uses a special 3D camera that transmits around 30,000 infrared dots to identify the user's identity. Its sophistication makes this sensor production a bit challenging - at the same time giving an impact on the iPhone X production rate.
Apple is quick to release this statement as they will start the iPhone X sales in several countries in early November - and they should not want reports to accurately impact their sales.
