Apple via iPhone
8 is ready to support wireless charging through it, and is now in the
quest to further increase its expertise in the arena, Apple has taken
over one of the non-wired charging firm called PowerbyProxi.
Through this acquisition, Apple said the team would complement Apple in developing the future of wireless charging. The PowerbyProxi firm also developed a custom module that adds 100-watt wireless and wireless charging support and some additional wireless-to-wire features to large devices such as robots, drones, and so on.
With this development, and Apple's own plans for AirPower - it is impossible for us to see wireless-charging support on both the iPad and Mac.
