Flying Patrol Vehicles are Show For Dubai Police Use

 
Dubai already tested the Volocopter taxi system and used Tesla as a taxi driver. Most recently in the ongoing GITEX event in Dubai, flying patrol vehicles are shown for police use.

Hoversurf flying patrol vehicles can fly for 25 minutes using electric or hourly power with fossil fuels. It can be ridden by a policeman or a flight attendant at a height of 5 meters to patrol. It is not known when it will start operations in the Middle East.

In addition to Hoversurf, the Dubai Police will also use a drilling O-R3 patrol car equipped with a drone to prevent crime. By 2020, robots will take over 25% of police duties in the country. At least in Dubai, Robocop is getting closer to reality.
