Nokia Stopped Developing And Selling Camera Ozo

Nokia Ozo is a virtual reality camera with 360 degree recording capabilities. When launched in 2015, it is a camera generated for virtual reality purposes by professional users. Today Nokia announces its development and sale has been halted. This is because the development of virtual reality and sales is slower than expected.

Nokia will now focus on the development of the health and patent sector. This termination resulted in 310 Nokia Technologies employees losing work. This is equivalent to 35% of their staff. Lately, the response to virtual reality technology has been diminishing. The focus has shifted to combined reality technology as demonstrated by Apple ARkit and Microsoft Mixed Reality.
