Project Formula - Electric Vehicle Project

The flying vehicle is a future dream that has been predicted since the end of the 19th century. The earliest attempt at realizing this dream was done by Henry Ford in 1926 but failed when the resulting prototype crashed. Only in the past five years the technology is mature enough to produce safe flying cars.

Project Formula is another flying car project shown and it is produced by Hoversurf. This is the firm that produces Scorpion flying motorcycles currently used by the Dubai police force.

The car is capable of carrying four passengers with 48 electric motor fans that provide forward thrust and float. To fly vertical fan on the underside of power supply. When reaching a certain height, it flies horizontally with foldable wings. Only four fans at the rear will be used for this mode to reduce power consumption.

The use of foldable wings allows it to be placed in a common vehicle parking space. At the same time in the event of a power outage Project Formula can still safely slide. The Hoversurf party intends to include an emergency parachuting system as a double security measure. Development is still in the design stage without any target date it will start operations so far.
