Today Konami
finally announced the launch date for the Metal Gear Survive game, the
new Metal Gear game series which focuses on zombies fighting and
multi-player gaming form. It will arrive on February 20, 2018 on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
Konami also
includes some additional items for pre-booked customers such as four
additional weapons, two player signals, four quilted fabrics, kabuki
face paints, Mother Base nameplate and Boxman accessories.
Metal Gear Survive is a spin-off game where it focuses soldiers from Motherbase's Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. The player will play as a soldier who can not escape when Motherbase's base is attacked and the player is deported to a world of zombies. The game can be played solo and multi-player up to four simultaneous players where players are able to operate to save themselves from the zombies.
Metal Gear Survive is the first Metal Gear game released by Konami after Hideo Kojima left Konami in December 2015.
