High-capacity hard drives seem to have spread dramatically lately. Companies
like HGST and Western Digital come in their own hard disk series, and
now it seems Seagate's turn is to come up with their own storage
devices.
Recently, Seagate has announced its latest series of hard drives, Seagate Barracuda Pro, Seagate IronWolf and Seagate IronWolf Pro. These three hard drives come with 12TB storage options, and have their own application of their own.
Seagate Barracuda Pro is designed specifically for desktop use. It can be used to store entertainment media, or work files that should always be accessed.

conjunction with Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices with RAID
configurations and so on.
All these hard drives come with data transmission speed of 250MB / s, and use helium gas technology to further increase storage capacity by compressing the number of disks in it.
Seagate Barracuda Pro and IronWolf Pro hard drives come with 5 years warranty and Seagate Rescue data recovery service for 2 years, while Seagate IronWolf comes with a 3-year warranty only.
In terms of price tag, Seagate Barracuda Pro was sold at $ 529, while Seagate IronWolf and IronWolf Pro came with a price tag of $ 469 and $ 539. For now, we still do not know if this series of hard drives will enter the Malaysian market or not.
