CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600 and 1600X should come with 6 cores and 12 power bands only. This CPU is said to be one of the most valuable computer processing chips purchased by its performance and the value of its sign.

Now it seems there are some reports that have been spread out that some users who buy the CPU find that their AMD Ryzen 5 1600 / X CPU comes with 8 cores and 16 threads.

According to reports from WCCFTech, the processing chips present with these 8 cores still have the same speed, 3.6GHz and Turbo Core speed at 4.0GHz. What's interesting here is that although the CPU speed is the same, because of the addition of two cores to this CPU, the performance is said to be the same as the AMD Ryzen 7 1800X CPU, which is priced at much more expensive than the AMD Ryzen 5 CPU,

The report also notes that this is not a sign that AMD will upgrade AMD Ryzen 5 CPU, but may be because AMD uses their 8-core CPU stocks to further increase their Ryzen 5 CPU volume in the market.

Regardless, users who get the Ryzen 5 8-core CPU are fortunate enough to have the AMD Ryzen 7 1800 / X CPU for Ryzen 5 1600 / X.
