
Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia today announced the virtual reality set of Playstation VR model CUH-ZVR2. It is an update of the PlayStation VR model that has been launched and sold since last year.
This latest model also has a more compact and small cable, besides accompanied with the built-in stereo earphones on the Playstation VR. Sony also stated that the latest PlayStation VR model now has HDR support. With this functionality, users no longer need to open and switch wires if they want to use the HDR function.

With this latest update, the PlayStation VR Processing Unit also can not be used with the old model as it has different cables. However, all virtual reality gaming and functionality can be used together.
According to Sony, the headphones will be launched in Japan on October 14 with Playstation Camera at 44,980 yen. For global marketplace, Sony has not yet announced any updates to the PlayStation VR model.
