Apple is Wrapped Because Dual-Cameras Used On iPhone 7+ & 8+ Indicted Patent Violating

The suit case involves them and Qualcomm is still pending but another new suit is filed by Corephotonics company. The Israeli-based company claims Apple has violated their dual-camera technology patents which are then used on iPhone 7 Plus and 8 Plus.

According to the writ of the suit filed, Corephotonics has several patents of dual-camera systems that improve the quality of the pictures taken. They have contacted Apple to share the technology they are making. Apple is said to praise the technology shown but is not interested in cooperation.
Subsequently Apple has released the iPhone 7 Plus which is their first dual-camera device. Corephotonics claims Apple has used telephoto lens designs, optical zoom and image manipulation into one image through their two different sensors without permission.
So far only iPhone 7 Plus and 8 Plus are listed by Corephotonics as a patent infringing device. The iPhone X may also be included in the list of infringing devices in the future as it has just launched.
Corephotonics has appointed legal firm Quinn Emanuael Urquhard & Sullivan to represent them. This is the same firm used by Samsung in the case against Apple.
