Reuters report quoting TechInsights firm shares the estimated cost of
producing iPhone X and it starts at $ 357.50 for a model
sold at $ 999 in the United States.
This provides a profit of 64% with every device sales. This is higher than the iPhone 8 which gives 59% profit. The cost of the OLED screen component is estimated at $ 65.50 and the aluminum frame costs $ 36. As a comparison of the cost of the iPhone 8 screen is $ 36 while the frame is $ 21.50.
These estimates however do not take into account the labor costs, logistics, patent licenses and the cost of new technology researches Apple has invested in producing devices.
