Facebook Using Artificial Intelligence To Detect Users Who Have the Kills Potential

Scientific studies find social media can bring negative effects on individuals with mental disorders. This has led to the many cases of humanity staging their suicide actions to social media. Facebook receives the biggest temptation as it happens among its users. To prevent this kind of occurrence, various systems were introduced by them to save the lives of depressed people.

Facebook has just announced the use of artificial intelligence to track the status of people who are at risk of suicide. When it detects suicide keywords, this system will connect users to helpful people. It is capable of detecting messages on uploaded status as well as Facebook Live videos.

Among the keywords searched the system are "are you ok?" And "can I help?" Uploaded by friends. This system will start operations in the United States first before being developed worldwide except Europe.

Previously another user had to report it manually before Facebook acted. Such artificial intelligence helps save lives. Unlike the science fiction display where artificial intelligence causes the extinction of human species.
