services are the future of the entertainment industry with the sale of
physical albums diminishing year after year. Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal are the three services that have the highest number of subscribers. These three giants will receive a new challenger, Yeezy Sound.
Yeezy Sound is a music streaming service, video, audio, multimedia enclosures and images that are trademarked by Kanye West. Kanye West had previously played a big role in the Tidal owned by her friend Jay Z.
The relationship between the two friends was cracked after Kanye accused Jay Z of refusing to pay millions of dollars worth of royalty to him for attracting customers to Tidal. Kanye then sued Tidal customers because the album is said to be exclusive on the platform then offered on Spotify and Apple Music.
So far it is not known when Yeezy Sound will be launched. Is streaming service from an artist able to operate? Taylor Swift had previously launched a private social media platform. Western artists have high trust that their names are worth enough to launch online services.
