Planet Like Earth Ross 128b Found At Distance 11 Years of Light

Earlier this year seven exoplanets such as the Earth were found at Trappist-1 at a distance of 40 light years. A group of scientists from Europe have discovered a new planet located just 11 light years from the earth.

Planet Ross 128b is estimated to have 1.35 Earth masses. It is also believed to have temperatures in the range of -60 to 20 degrees Celsius. From the initial observation, the same scientists felt that it had the potential to sustain life. If current technology is used to travel to Ross 128b, it will take 47,992 years to reach the destination. It's still shorter than 174,516 years to reach Trappist-1.
