Update iOS 11.2 Will Enable Faster Charging More Quickly

The iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X are the first three Apple phones that support wireless charging. This places it on par with the Android and Windows Phone devices that have supported it over half a decade. But when launched the three only support 5W wireless charging.

Apple has confirmed after updating to iOS 11.2 later, support for 7.5W wireless charging will be supported. This will speed up a little battery charging process. But this is still slower than Samsung's 15W wireless charging powered by devices like the Galaxy S8.
