Kaspersky Labs anti-virus software is easily found in a laptop as it is provided free of charge. It ensures the computer is safe from malware and intrusion attacks. But in the United States the use of Kaspersky Labs software has been banned in government offices due to the perceived danger.
The ban was signed by President Donald Trump yesterday. Last October, the Wall Street Journal report claimed that confidential files from National Security Agency (NSA) contractors were stolen using Kaspersky software. The Kaspersky party denied this allegation and was willing to share source files to prove they were innocent. The US government has yet to show evidence of the spying done using the Kaspersky software.
