Detective Pikachu to Be Launched Globally - New Nintendo 2DS XL Pikachu Edition Also Announced Together

Today, The Pokemon Company has finally announced that the Detective Pikachu game which was previously exclusively launched in the Japanese market in 2016, will arrive globally from March 23, 2018. According to Nintendo, the game will be launched physically and also digitally on the Nintendo 3DS.

Game Detective Pikachu is an investigation game where players will control a Detective Pikachu who will work with a man named Tim Goodman. Interestingly, Detective Pikachu is also working to communicate with Goodmon Team and players need to work together and wander around to solve the mystery in the game.

 

In addition, Nintendo also announced that they will launch Amiibo's special Pikachu detective, which is a larger edition with a size of 13.6cm. The Amiibo will be launched along with the game where players can use the Amiibo to open short videos that will help and guide players when players play the game.

 

Nintendo also announced the new Nintendo 2DS XL Pikachu edition on the 26th of January. It will cost $ 159.99 and will include a special design of Pikachu with yellow with Pikachu front cover.
