The use of gimbals can stabilize the video recording process. DJI is among the companies that are famous for camera gears that are used by professionals and amateur. They have rolled out two latest DJI Osmo Mobile 2 and Ronin S today.
DJI Osmo Mobile 2 brings improvements over the model two years ago. This time Osmo Mobile 2 can stabilize the smartphone in both vertical and horizontal positions. Previously only horizontal position was supported. The included battery also lasts for about 15 hours compared to nearly 5 hours before. This gimbal will be sold at $ 129.
DJI Ronin-S is bringing renewal compared to Ronon 2 launched in April last year. This gimbal is designed for use with DSLR and non-mirror cameras. The maximum weight of the camera that can be used is almost 14 kilograms. Ronin-S will be sold in the second quarter of 2018 but the price has not yet been announced.
