In conjunction with the open Metal Gear Survive beta this week, Konami also shared the latest trailer for the game by displaying a number of games that players can do while cooperative play.
Interestingly, the game also has various interesting and different game forms from the earlier Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain game with a number of new weapons as well as close-range weapons.
Apart from collecting items for survival as previously shown by Konami, this latest trailer focuses on multi-player games where players have to work together to beat the zombies found in the game. Despite the ability to install traps, there are also a range of strong close-range weapons for players. Additionally, the player is also able to change various types of costumes for the characters in the game.
At the end of the trailer, Konami also displays Metal Gear Ray from Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons Of Liberty to be in the game. Currently, Konami has not yet stated that Metal Gear Ray can be knocked down by the player or it will be the enemy of the player.
But with Metal Gear Ray, the duration of the game was somewhat weird where Metal Gear Survive was supposed to happen after the Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes, where Metal Gear Ray had yet to be produced. But we may get answers about this when it's launched.
Metal Gear Survive will be launched on February 20, 2018 at Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC consoles. For those of you who are interested in trying this game, Konami also announced the beta of the game will start on January 18th until January 21st via Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
