Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD & WD My Passport Wireless SSD

Mobile storage is a device often used by professionals in the creativity industry, especially professional photographers who need to move from one location to another.
 
At the CES 2018 event, Western Digital announced two durable portable storage, Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD and WD My Passport Wireless SSD. Both mobile storage is the first mobile storage device that comes with the use of SSD storage instead of the usual hard drive.

Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD devices come with pretty compact designs, and can be connected to laptops using USB Type-C Gen 2 3.1 cable that capaility data transmission rates of 550MB / s.
 
WD My Wireless Passport is an update to the previous WD My Wireless Passport series. It comes with WiFi features to transfer data, SD card reader and also battery that can last for 15 hours with a full charge. Just like Sandisk mobile storage, this device also uses SSD as storage.

Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD comes with 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB storage, while the latest WD My Wireless Passport comes with 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB storage. Both devices are said to be on the market in February, starting at $ 100 and $ 250.
