Stylus may be hated by Steve Jobs when launching the iPhone eleven years ago. But the fact that human fingers are still not perfect enough to replace stylus especially if they want to do detailed sketches. Thus Apple Pencil is launched but the stylus with the ability to detect this pressure is sold at an affordable price and can only be used with iPad Pro.

For those who are looking for a stylus with support for affordable pressure tracking, SonarPen has been produced. This stylus can also be used on all iOS devices like the old generation iPad and iPhone.

SonarPen's uniqueness is that it uses sound waves to change the stylus movement into a picture on the screen. It is connected directly to the audio jack. On non-audio jack devices, the Lighthing adapter to an existing audio jack can be used. Currently only ZenBrush 2 app and GoodNotes support the pressure tracking function on SonarPen.

SonarPen is raising funds through Kickstarter and can be owned at HKD 195. This makes it the stylus with the most affordable pressure support for iOS devices currently.
