Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17101 (RS4) was launched yesterday. Among the new functions included is the Ultimate Performance mode in the power management system. This mode will increase PC capabilities to the highest level regardless of power consumption.
By default all PCs use Balanced settings. If power is required the user can change to Maximum Performance setting. This Ultimate Performance Mode can only be enabled on the Workstation that uses Windows 10 Pro later. It also can not be activated on a computer that uses the battery as it will use power at a high rate.
