Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 Processor Announced For Windows 10 Always Connected PC Computers

 
The Computex 2018 event continues today with the latest processor announcement from Qualcomm Snapdragon 850. This processor is the first Qualcomm produced specifically for the Windows 10 Always Connected PC laptop. In terms of design it is produced using 10nm FinFET technology, and is equipped with eight cores.

The four Kryo 385 Gold terraces are matched with four Kryo 385 Silver terraces. The Kryo 385 Gold thrust on the Snapdragon 850 works at a speed of 2.95 GHz and is faster than what was used on Snapdragon 845 before. It still maintains the Adreno 630 graphics chips and L20 X2 chips.

In addition it also supports the 4K resolution and HDR support 10. After updating Windows 10 Creators Update, the processor is also capable of using 64-bit applications that were previously unsupported by the Qualcomm output processor. Qualcomm also announced the first laptop that would use the Snapdragon 850 processor will be produced by Samsung.
