The biggest name in the electric vehicle arena with the ability of the driver is Tesla. But their dominance is now being challenged by conventional vehicle manufacturers like Nissan and Honda. Another new company has also plunged into this arena. Byton Concept is a Smart Intuitive Vehicle that will be sold as early as 2019.

Two models will be produced with one model equipped with a 268 horsepower motor and another with dual-powered 469 horsepower. Byton's side targets that the vehicle produced will have a maximum travel distance of up to 520 kilometers at a time. Charging for 30 minutes can charge up to a long time.

The cockpit front is dominated by 1.2 meters long touch screen. On the steering wheel there is another tablet-sized touch screen to allow the driver to control the basic functionality of the vehicle. Byton Concept will also use Amazon Alexa's virtual assistant to enable it to understand voice commands. The camera on the side of the door supports the face-charging system. The door will unlock and open when it detects the owner's face. Configuration of seats and drives can also be changed automatically according to different driver profiles.

Initially it only has a 3rd level self driving function. By 2020 it is aimed at level 4's self driving. The difference between these two levels is at level 4, the vehicle does not require direct human help to start the drive. Byton Concept targets sales in China in 2019 with a sale price starting from $ 45,000.
